March 19: The Deschutes County Commission's Next Chapter and Your Vote in 2026: A Look Into the District Mapping Process and Upcoming Elections

The 2026 elections will be very important for the future of Deschutes County. In 2024, voters approved to expand the County Commission Board from three members to five, leading to the formation of an advisory committee tasked with developing a map to create five County Commission districts, a change from current seats being at large. This effort has sparked strong interest in both the May primary and November general elections.  Join us for a timely conversation with those closely involved in the mapping process and learn more about where we are now and what’s ahead for Deschutes County voters this year.
