Food insecurity is a growing crisis in Central Oregon. In just six years, the need for emergency food distribution has tripled — a stark indicator of deepening challenges for local families, children, and seniors. With looming federal budget cuts threatening essential support systems, our region faces an urgent question: how do we come together to ensure no one in our community goes hungry?
This forum will explore the scope and impact of food insecurity in Central Oregon, highlight innovative local organizations leading the charge with creative solutions, and offer clear ways each of us can be part of the change. Join us for an honest, hopeful conversation that brings knowledge, compassion, and action to the table.
